Jeff, Helena, their two sets of twins, and their two family bikes

Helena stopped by to visit me a couple weeks ago with her husband Jeff and their two sets of twin girls.  Helena wanted to show me their new vehicle.

After caring for their young set of twins at home for a few years, she is going back to work, so her family needed a second car.  But instead, they opted for the new Edgerunner Family bike by Xtracycle!  I had to go down and see...

Helena piles their gear (do you realize how much gear you need when you've got two little ones in tow?) into the extra wide panniers which are large enough for four bags of groceries.  Then she piles the young twins on the perfectly comfortable padded longtail.  They're as secure as they are adorable inside the Hooptie with guard rails outside and handrails to hang onto inside.  And the Kickback kickstand gives her girls stability without Mom needing to hold up the bike.  Finally, the U-Tube foot supports give them a step to climb up, and somewhere to rest their feet... well, maybe when their legs grow another foot!

Jeff has been taking his older set of twins everywhere by bike since they could wear helmets.  They currently ride a bicycle built for three.

These guys go everywhere by bike.  They are definitely one of the cycling-est families I know!
