Support Protected Bikeways for Graham Students

  • Mountain View City Hall 500 Castro Street Mountain View, CA (map)

Come support the improvements the City wants to make for Graham Middle School students.  They need our support!

Details:

Where:  Mountain View City Hall: 500 Castro Street, Mountain View, CA 94041

When: Tuesday, February 9th

  • 4:30 pm - 4:50: Meet-up outside City Hall - RSVP
  • 5pm - 6:30: Study Session inside City Hall

Why: At a 5pm study session, city staff will present the design for roadway improvements they want to make on Castro Street from Miramonte to El Camino.  The design includes pedestrian enhancements, protected bike lanes, and traffic calming measures.  There will be people who do not want to see the traffic calming.  We need to show City Council that a larger group of people want to make sure Graham Middle School students have a safe way to get to school.

What: Band together with other folks who support the proposed roadway improvements at 4:30 pm outside City Hall.  Wear green in solidarity.  At 4:50, we will walk upstairs together to show support at the study session.  If you want to speak, you will have 2 or 3 minutes.  Bring a middle school student!
